Sadly, no.
If only SingStar / London Studios took note of Rock Band's RBN, where artists themselves can submit content for the game at a normal or reduced price.
You'd think record companies, record labels and the artists themselves would bend over backwards to have their songs and videos promoted in a game like SingStar so we'd have the latest songs in there, but no, instead we get a really poor selection of tracks and many of our requests go ignored or they blame their inability to get a particular song or artist due to licensing. Really? There are so many artists on the Sony labels, surely it wouldn't be *that* difficult to strike a deal with them.
I say they're not trying hard enough!
And yeah, it would be awesome if there were some free songs too, but I can't see that happening unfortunately.
