I have recenlty had to buy a new PS3 and have my singstar songs moved to this. Most have been reinstated to the new PS3 but I have some songs missing from my purchase history.

They are:

Culture Club - Kharma Chameleon

Duran Duran - Ordinary World

Spandau Ballet - Gold

Queen - Another One Bites The Dust

               I Want It All

               We Are The Champions

               We Will Rock You

               Who Wants To Live Forever

I have phoned about it and my details have been passed on to the relevant department. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem and how easy it was to get the songs back.

How long ago was this? Your best bet is to ring them again to see if they have "moved" these songs from your old ps3 to allow your new one to access and download them again.

I bought a new PS3 within the last two weeks or so. Most of the songs have been moved across with the exception of the above.

Had you bought them using a second profile/account on the same PS3?

i.e, some songs I bought on my UK profile/account show up on my AU profile/account when playing SingStar. These would probably not show if I deleted said UK account.

I've just checked my son's sub account and found three of the songs but the Queen song pack is still missing. The three songs I have found are still attached to the old system so will have to make another call. I have also noticed that the Queen song pack is no longer available on the store so don't know if this has anything to do with it.

I am having this same isue. I actually had everything transfered over in March this year to the new ps3 and everything was good, all songs seemed accounted for and have played a few times with out any problems. Then tonight I went in and found that all of a sudden a dozen or so songs are completely missing from from my selection of playable songs and they aren't even in my purchase history. I am pretty upset about this because I paid so much money for these extras. Did you find out what needs to be done?

At the moment they are still looking in to it. I did however manage to find a complete list of transactions on the main site  ( https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/login.action?service-entity=psn). If you log into there and go into accounts, transaction history you may be able to find your songs. It will only display so much at a time so you may have to play around with the dates. I purchased mine back in 2009 and now have an order number to prove it should there be any problems.

Well still no sign of my missing singstar pack and the three songs on the sub account are still locked into the old system. How difficult can it be!

this might be stating the obvious but when you go to purchase history did you navigate over to sing packs using the left and right buttons?

other than that there was one other thing i can think of

Back when they had the dance/guitar add-ons in the updates... some times they would be glitched and singstar would refund your money.... one time they refunded a whole order of 10 songs and 2 add ons because one of the add ons didnt work for me.... i still got to play the songs they refunded since they were on my hard drive... but when i changed ps3s to the slim, i couldnt ever get them back until i bought them again
