SingStar, the ultimate competitive singing game for PlayStation3, will now be available to everyone in SCE Europe territories (as well as Australia and New Zealand) as a free download straight from the XMB. Yes, that’s right, no more need to slot in a disc to get that party started.

This has me quite excited - maybe Sony haven't given up on the franchise just yet...
Looking forward to having a play, particularly to see how well it works via camera and with non sing-star mics. Maybe I'll even be tempted to use my extra upload slots! Sorry neighbours, looks like a SIngStar weekender may be happening

This will make Singstar and MOVE use alot more fun. having to hold a mic in the hand I would have liked the have move in was realy annoying.
And what singers now adays uses hand held mics.
They nearly all have a boom mic from their ear and a long wire to the radio pack.
