Hey there,
I have a problem with contacting UK support. I don't live in UK so when I try to call
them, It says that the number is incorrect. This the number : +44 8447360595. Is there is any additional number I should add? Could anyone help plz?

My PS3 got the dreaded red light of death a couple of weeks ago. I've got a new slim console and was happy to find this thread to help me re-download the songs (which were obviously still locked to my old console).
Just to re-iterate what's been said - UK customer support was extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy with that.
Also, slight differences:
The bit at the beginning where you press a number for Playstation Network - there's now another bit after that where you have to select from another list of options (i wasn't 100% sure i'd picked the right one, but he didn't re-direct me or anything when i got through).
Also, i wasn't asked for my username; i was asked for my email address, date of birth and postcode (which wasn't my current one, so i had to quickly recall what my old postcode was from when i first got my PS3).
Plus i wasn't asked for any serial numbers from either console. When i asked why not, i was told that they'll simply deactivate the songs from the console they're currently locked to and i'll then be able to re-download them to whatever console i like (they don't need to know the serial number - they'll automatically get that when i re-download my first song on the new console).
Was told it could take a couple of days before the SingStar team contact me.

Seems it is that time of month as my original ps3 bought day of release also just died a death at the weekend and got the yellow light of death. It has had a good run though it seems to make it this far with no problems until now. So reluctantly i have bought the slim and reinstalling everything.
Found this post and called up and like last poster, great customer service and zipped through and done In a couple of minutes after the security questions and mail sent off to support to deactivate songs on old ps3 so I can redownload to new one. Very good customer service. Just wish their website was as easy to use! ![]()

Just to update, i wasn't checking daily to see when songs were ready to update, so i don't know the exact day they were available to me on the new console, but i noticed on about Friday.
The songs took a few days to download , but now everything is up & running again as normal. ![]()

just got round to this, nearly 2 years after losing my old Fat PS3
easy process, just hope I gave them the right serial number for new(ish) Slim PS3 ![]()

This is a major pain in the ass >____>
It's my Playstation Network account, why do I have to get permission from an outsider to use the content, I have purchased!?
This is ridiculous... Now, I have to ring up and probably get put through to someone who isn't English and have to ask them repeatedly to repeat what they just said... Next time Sony make a system where I can re-use my content after my previous Playstation died.
